Fresh 48 Photography Session in Shreveport

I had the pleasure of trying something new out yesterday, and I shot a Fresh 48 session in Shreveport for Kayle and Jevan. Kayle gave birth at Highland Clinic, and I enjoyed every moment I spent with them. I have never shot a Fresh 48 before, so I told them going into this that I was going to figure it out as I went along. I have to say… I kind of have baby fever now. I can see me wanting to do this kind of session all the time.

What is a Fresh 48 session? Well it is not a portrait session. It is a documentary style session of those quiet peaceful moments after birth. It is about documenting those moments that you spend bonding and getting to know your newborn. It is about documenting ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes. It is about the love that you have for your family. And it is about the quiet, the peace, and the stillness that comes with new life.

Congratulations Kayle and Jevan! Your precious baby boy is absolutely perfect. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of those moments with you.
