Several weeks ago I received a call from Candace asking me if I could be available to shoot her wedding at My Three Weddings barn in Coushatta La. Three weeks! That is how quickly this wedding came together, and I am so happy that I was available to be a part of this wedding for Candace and Shane.

I have known Candace for a few years now. Our children are friends, and she and I attend the same Sunday school class at church. So when she asked me to be her wedding photographer I could not say no. I am so blessed to be able to follow along her journey and see her so happy! She threw her wedding together in three weeks time. She said that when she knew she was ready, she was ready!

These GORGEOUS cakes were made by GeorgieGirl Cakery in Coushatta, La. And that groom’s cake… HOW CREATIVE! It is a whiskey barrel that literally dispenses whiskey… or other beverage of choice!

Candace was escorted down the aisle by her son, and it was so precious! He appeared to be very proud to hold his mother on his arm. The ceremony was beautiful even in spite of rain, and it was officiated by our church pastor at Fairview Baptist Church, Dr. Matt Endris.

It was a super quick wedding followed by a fun evening of friends. We didn’t spend too much time taking portraits after the ceremony, but I did convince them to let me steal them away for a few. There was an old truck on the property at this wedding at My Three Weddings barn in Coushatta La.

The rest of the evening was spent visiting with friends and family. It was a fun night that I am so thankful I was able to be a part of. Congratulations Candace and Shane!
