This past weekend I was able to spend some time taking the McQuillin family winter portraits at their family farm in Natchitoches Parish. We had to reschedule this session a couple of different times because of the weather, but also taking into account that everyone had to be off work on the same day. We got super lucky this past Saturday because it was literally the only day in a ten day forecast that we didn’t have rain falling.
I have been lucky enough to shoot several different milestones for this family. The first time was when I shot Kristin’s senior portrait session three or four years ago. Then I shot Logan and Mary Katherine’s maternity session earlier this year. (Both of which I still need to post here on the blog) Last month I shot an engagement session for Kristin and Tyler. This month I got to shoot winter portraits for the entire family! Even though it was a cold, dreary day, I couldn’t have asked for better. Here is a little sneak peek from their session.
I love that I was able to shoot the McQuillin Family Winter Portraits at their family farm. Two of my favorite things were paired together… FARMS AND PHOTOGRAPHY! I couldn’t resist grabbing a few shots in front of the cows. They probably thought I was a little crazy for how excited I got about the cows. If you want to see how excited I get about farm animals, be sure to check out my Instagram.
